The Flemington - Raritan First Aid and Rescue Squad responded along with the Flemington Fire Department for a Level Four Haz-Mat Box Alarm at North Main Street at the intersection with Walter Foran Blvd. 

A tractor trailer apparently snagged a guy wire for a utility pole which brought down at least two poles, one of which struck a passing vehicle.  The trailer of the truck then split in the middle and collapsed to the roadway.  The truck was reported to be carrying bottled water and pallets.

There were no injuries reported, and the BLS unit stood by until Flemington FD had mitigated the engine fluid spill.  Traffic in the area was disrupted for several hours until the debris and vehicles could be removed from the intersection.  Investigation by Flemington PD.  The tractor trailer was removed by ADR Towing.
