The Flemington-Raritan First Aid & Rescue Squad responds with Clinton First Aid & Rescue Squad and Whitehouse Rescue Squad as part of the Hunterdon County Technical Rescue Task Force.
Early Sunday morning at approximately 1:04 AM, the Task Force was alerted by Hunterdon County Communications to respond to assist Knowlton Township on Route 94 in Warren County for a truck into a house with structural damage. Members from all three agencies mustered for the early morning assignment. Each agency assembled their equipment and collapsed trained personnel and responded into Warren County. Before reaching the destination the Task Force was cancelled.
Although cancelled while responding, each agency supplied members and equipment to answer the call for assistance from our neighboring county. Members from each agency work and train together so that calls for assistance for these unique circumstances are answered safely and effectively.
The Hunterdon County Technical Rescue Task Force is a partnership between these rescue squads to act as one team sharing resources and personnel to provide Technical Rescue Response to specialized response scenarios like this one this morning.
